Noticing Your Patterns
Noticing Your Patterns
Before we can change how we handle pressure, we need to see our current patterns clearly.
This reflection invites you to examine your own relationship with certainty and commitment under pressure.
Reflection Questions
Take a few minutes to reflect on these questions. There are no right answersâjust honest observation.
When pressure rises, what do you notice in yourself?
- Do you speed up or slow down?
- Do you seek more information or push for closure?
- Do you become more certain or more tentative?
Think of a recent commitment you made that you weren't fully confident about:
- What was the pressure that led you to commit?
- What did you know vs. not know at the time?
- What signals, if any, did you ignore?
- How did it turn out?
Consider the environments you work in:
- What happens when someone says "I don't know yet"?
- How is uncertainty typically received?
- What would have to change for honesty to feel safer?
Looking forward:
- What's one pattern you'd like to change?
- What would make that change possible?
There's no need to write these down unless you want to. The value is in the noticing itself.
